Over the Bootcamp of two days, you’ll go beyond patterns and figures. You’ll explore the structure of salsa music, recognize instruments, anticipate accents, and develop the ability to translate sound into movement with precision and confidence.

Instrumental Patterns & Musical Basics
Learn to recognize the key instruments and rhythmic patterns in salsa music. Your basic step becomes musical as you start expressing individual instruments through movement.

Song Structur
Here you’ll find out how to predict any salsa song. Even though they are different, they all have the same structure. After this class you’ll know for sure which melodies and accents will be repeated. Also you’ll learn to hit the notes precisely – to display what you hear – and get the attention of musical dancers.

Famous Accents
Discover why the clave is the heart of salsa music. You’ll learn to recognize common accents found in many songs, anticipate them, and express them clearly in your dancing.

Solo Expressing
This is where everything comes together. Using rhythm, structure, and accents, you’ll learn how to express the music naturally and develop confident, musical solo movement.
